Lounge the day away in the inviting pools and lagoons of our Kauai beach resort, where you'll find everything from scuba lessons to floating chairs. If it's ocean breezes you prefer, our white sand beach is just steps away.
The first stop on your visit to the pools is our Recreations Desk, located on the lower level of the pool, next to The Dock restaurant. Check out your beach towels, get a waterslide wristband and you're ready to go. While you're at the desk, don't forget to make reservations for some of our exciting recreational activities including Scuba Diving Lessons in our lagoon. You can also reserve one of our beachfront cabanas, perfect for relaxing in private.
Capt. Andy’s Watersports Center
Floating chairs, rafts, snorkel gear and kayaks are all available for rent at Capt. Andy’s Watersports Center, beside the lagoon.
Salt Water Lagoons
Enjoy the relaxing waters of this meandering, expansive salt-water lagoon. Find your perfect spot to hide away, basking in the warmth of the sun without a care. Let the gentle motion of the waters soothe you as you glide effortlessly on a floating chair. Feeling more energetic? Rent one of our two-person kayaks for an exciting, family activity or take a snorkeling and diving lesson from our experienced staff.
These enchanting "river pools" wind through waterfalls and grottos into pools perfect for swimming and playing a game of water volleyball. Kids of all ages will love the 150-foot slide that lands you with a refreshing splash into the crystal clear waters. Sun lit decks woven throughout the river-like pools offer spectacular places to take in the beautiful Hawaiian scenery.
White Sand Beach
Enjoy early morning dune walks, lounge along the edge of the Pacific or view stunning sunsets, all from the comfort of the beautiful beach. Adjacent to the Resort, Shipwreck Public Beach, is a lovely stretch of sand great for walking and sunbathing.
Due to the short shore break and strong current, we advise only advanced surfers to venture further than the shoreline. Warning flags posted along the beach are there to help guests determine whether conditions are safe for ocean swimming. There is no lifeguard posted at Shipwreck Beach so you should also follow safe ocean swimming guidelines. Always swim or snorkel with a buddy. Never turn your back on the ocean. Always keep an eye on young children.
Hours: 24-hour pool facility
